We purchased this TV around Christmas 2006. By the end of January the TV screen was no longer working, sound but no picture. After paying $75 plus shipping to send it in for repairs (since we no longer had the receipt), the company sent us another unit within a couple of weeks. However, within about another month of receiving the new unit the DVD player was no longer working (it wouldn't open to insert or remove a disc). Since we didn't use it for that purpose much, I didn't bother contacting the company about that. As of a day or two ago (Feb 2008), only a year old, NOTHING on the unit works except for the radio. If you're still considering buying, check the reviews for the TV w/out the DVD player and you'll see it received poor reviews as well. It was an ok TV while it worked, but if I could rate it NO stars, I would have.

I had this unit for approximately 1 year. The On/Off button broke on it and my only way to power it on/off at this point is the remote. As the previous reviewer said - i also would not recommend it to others
